The silkworm by Robert Galibrith: Review!

The Silkworm - Robert Galbraith

I gave this book 4.5 stars. I really liked it but the mystery was not a fascinating as the first one in the series. I still loved it though. One of my favorite parts of the books overall was the development of Robin and Strike relationship in the book. I loved how this book was much a more personal soul searching for robin and it was also interesting how that affected both mathew and how it effected her job. I also found it cool how Strike injury and disability was addressed in this book it made it really change how i viewed his character. I also like how the mystery was developed and it was so complicated and juicy like only JKR can do. I really loved how the how story came out this time. It was developed so well and I had no idea where it was going. I loved how Strike knew who the killer was long before the audience and that was so different form the previous book in this series. It is one of the reasons I really want to reread this book to really see if on a re read if I pick up different clues I did not see the first time. I also loved both car incidents in the book and it was easy to see how strong robin was and how Strike did not feel that this role of a women was okay. I also liked finally learning the reason Strike relationship ended in the first book and I hope in the upcoming novels that we learn more about Robin past and more about Strike. I liked meeting his friends and family and also the police chief and all them had roles in the revel and again this is why this book is massive re-read for me. I give this book 4.5 out of five. It was so good!
Happy reading!
