Truthwitch: By Susan Dennard

This book was super slow for me at the start and that was mostly because of the world building. I really wanted to love this book from the first page but it took a good 150 pages to really adjust to this world building. The world was complicated and it was not directly explained so it was sometimes hard for to follow.

The saving grace in this book was the characters and the way witchery was used in this novel. I loved the strong female characters that dominated this story. It was a great friendship and I can't wait to see where this story goes next. It again is very well plotted and I am never able to predict the twists.

I hope that the next book the world building improves because that was why this book was a struggle for me.
